What is FRP(Factory Reset Protection)?
Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is a security feature on Android devices. It’s designed to prevent Unauthorized people from using the phone if it’s been reset to factory settings without permission. When FRP is activated, the phone asks for the Google account credentials last used on it after a factory reset. Here’s how to set up your phone manually if it’s protected by an FRP lock
- Turn on your phone.
- Choose the option to set up the phone manually.
- Connect to Wi-Fi or turn on mobile data.
- The phone will check if it has an FRP (Factory Reset Protection) lock.
If you see a message that says, “Verify Your Account” or “The device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google account that was previously synced on this device,” then go back to the Wi-Fi screen.
This means the phone has an FRP lock.
